📄️ Importing images
To get started with using the database, images must first be imported.
📄️ Import external Datasets to the database
Datasets that have been obtained outside of the Visiopharm platform can be imported into the database. This allows for the data to be utilized in the various analytical tools available in the Visiopharm platform, such as the Explore/QC tool.
📄️ Structuring images in studies
Before image analysis can begin, images must be added to a study. The new database provides full flexibility when creating a new study, allowing studies to be created either before images are available, or during/after the image import process.
📄️ Searching the database
The database enables more intuitive searches, reducing the time required to locate specific images.
📄️ Tagging images
Tags are metadata that describes the images e.g., type of stain, tissue, the scanner used, etc. The tags can be organized in tag groups, which is all handled within the new data.
